Plot X-Axis/Y-Axis

The Plot/Axis commands allow you to specify parameters of the X-Axis and Y-Axis. The parameters Minimum, Maximum, Tic Spacing, and Label Spacing will be set automatically if Auto Scaling is checked; otherwise you may set them manually. The Restore Scale button will restore the original parameter values.

The plot data is “normalized” by a power of ten. If Auto Power is checked, the power of ten will be selected automatically; otherwise, you may set it manually using the Power of 10 field. To disable normalization, uncheck Auto Power and set Power of 10 to “0”.

The Max Decimal Digits field controls how many digits are shown after the decimal point.

You can control how the grid is drawn by selecting one of the Grid Options. This lets you draw the grid On Tic Marks, On Labels, or On Zero (on the Axis), or turn it off, using None.

If the Log Mode box is checked, the axis will be logarithmic rather than linear.
