The Plot/Write Data command writes the X-Y data values of the plot out to a file using the Text:Plot format. This feature is primarily useful for exporting the plot to another plotting application.

Note that this command writes the pixelized data, not the underlying data samples. Therefore, for example, if the data being plotted consists of 8000 samples, and the plot only has 800 pixels across, the resulting file will have 800 X-Y data points, each representing 10 data samples.
