All of ScopeFIR's design methods design linear-phase FIRs.  However, this command allows you to convert a linear-phase FIR to a minimum-phase FIR.  Minimum-phase (that is, minimum delay) FIRs may be preferred in applications where delay should be minimized, and some phase distortion can be allowed.
